We went here for brunch on Thanksgiving and there were a few parties there and a lot of people getting spring rolls in catering trays for their family gatherings. The staff was friendly, the restaurant was pleasant to be in. The food was not super fast but not too slow. The spring roll tray was so good! Would definitely go back to have again. We got Banh Beo and a broken rice dish - all super good too. Oh and this place is cash only!

Really tiny Vietnamese restaurant located in a tiny strip mall. Also cash only (I had to go next door to the liquor store to get cash). This place has neighborhood gem energy all over it. The menu is pretty extensive relative to the size of the place and has some items that is personally hard for me to find without travelling to OC and the prices were super reasonable as well. The service and folks here are super friendly. It almost feels like I'm at a family member's house and they're trying to feed me. Or at the very least, family friends.

I probably could've left the restaurant full or satisfied ordering one of these items, but since I was so excited to see them available here, I ordered both the bun bo hue (pretty spicy) and the banh beo. Both were so delicious and fresh. The bun bo hue came with super fresh greens and lime. The sauce for banh beo was very tasty and peppers were on the side to add to your liking. Since the bun bo hue/ noodle soup was already spicy enough, I limited my sweating by not using the peppers on the other dish, haha. I ended up eating all the banh beo since that might be near impossible to take to go after, but had to get a container for most of my bun bo hue since I ordered way too much food for one person.

It was a small restaurant, but I was still surprised how busy it was during a weekday. Great for them! It was just that I have been eating at a lot of places in the area during the week at night and places don't feel as busy as they should.

There was parking in the lot of the location, but there also seemed to be a lot of street parking close by.

The older couple who run this restaurant are so nice!! We ordered the special for 2 people, some broken rice dishes, and the shrimp banh beo. Everything was delicious, the special came with a mountain of veggies (be sure to dig we didn't uncover the bean sprouts or cucumbers until later ). Fiancé loved the broken rice, texture was great and pork was juicy, fatty, full of flavor. We had some leftovers of the special and the owner gave us more rice paper and sauce to go with the leftover meat, so incredibly thoughtful and appreciated! Note that it is cash only though so just come prepared.

First time trying this restaurant. Very pleasant owner. He helped us order my food. We ordered pho with rare beef and tendon, rice noodles with BBQ pork & egg roll, and spring rolls. Our food was very tasty. I will go back and try other items. Recommend.

Nice little mom and pop shop in a small plaza. I've ordered the BBH, com tam plates and spring rolls. Personally my favorite is the BBH here. If I don't feel like driving farther into SGV for spring rolls, I don't mind grabbing them from here however they do slightly lack a bit of flavor and texture compared to Summer Rolls. The service is quick and the workers here are very sweet. They have a small parking lot but I never have any trouble finding parking

I was here last night running around the area looking for a good massage lol and craving for noodles soup, was going to get Chinese noodles but then I found this place and I never tried it here before so why not, it has good reviews. Is right in a mini plaza on the corner of Valley Blvd and marengo street. Inside, everything looks old except the menu lol. The side of tables and chairs are dirty. I'm assuming they just wipe down the top of tables, missing the sides and the chairs legs are dirty too. The menu looks updated. I ordered the combination pho of course and # 8 spring rolls with Thai ice tea. Some of the other reviews on the combination pho has a big piece of tendons unfortunately mine has only one small piece and is the hard piece. So sad. The broth was flavorful but I think is too much noodles. Usually I can't finish the whole bowl but not today, there's still some noodles I just couldn't finish. The # 8 spring rolls was good except I didn't like that big piece of cucumber inside. The Thai ice tea was good too. The price was decent like most of the Vietnamese restaurant. I still tipped $5, is a little more then 20%. Differently recommended it your in the area and don't want to spend too much money, this the place to go.

Small shared parking lot in front of restaurant. Owned by a husband and wife and family operated for over 19 years. The place is simple, practical and not fancy. The owner lady is very sweet. Food comes out quickly, so great spot if you're in a time crunch. We ordered spring rolls, pho tai, pho bo vien, broken rice with beef and cafe sua da. The broken rice with beef was well seasoned. It looked so simple, no frills. Just sautéed sliced beef on top of broken rice and two slices of cucumbers. It was packed with flavor, so good that we ordered another plate and of course didn't finish it so took it home. The pho was good, not chewy like I like it but still good. The broth is not oily and tasty. The coffee comes in a styrofoam cup. If you box up to go, they still use styrofoam as take out containers. Restrooms are for employees only. Beware, cash only! We ended up ordering much more than expected and our bill was over $90. Luckily next door had an ATM (they charge $2.50 service fee). Closed on Tuesdays.
